There are lots of Secret codes for Nokia N8 device that allows you to do lots of awesome tricks on your Phone. Here, we are going to guide you about these Shortcut Secret codes for Nokia N8.

We are going to start the list in alphabetically order:

1. Activate Silent Profile: If you want to quickly activate Silent profile on your Phone then Press # from the Phone Dialer. If you are in Silent Mode then also you can use this trick to Activate general profile on your Phone.

2. BlueTooth Device Address: If you want to know the Bluetooth Address of your Phone then Dial *#2820#. It will display the 12 digit Bluetooth Address.

3. Factory Reset: If you want to factory reset your Phone then Dial *#7780* from your Phone. Factory reset will helps you to reset your Phone Settings. It will brings the default Settings on your Phone. (More Info)

4. Hard Reset: If you want to Hard reset your phone then dial *#7370# Hard Reset from your Phone. This trick will erase your Phone memory data including your messages, contacts, applications and Settings (Sync your Phone with Nokia Suite before doing doing this trick). (More info)

5. IMEI Number: If you want to check your Phone IMEI Number then Dial *#06# from your Phone. It will show 16 digit code on the phone screen.

6. Open Wap browser: If you want to Quickly open Wap browser on your Phone then Press 0 from the Phone Dialer for 1-2 seconds. If will quickly open the Wap Browser with the default homepage.

7. Phone Software Version: Whenever you want to know your Phone software version, then simply Dial *#0000#. It will open the Device manager on Nokia Touch Phone’s where you can easily see the Software version of your Phone. You can also use this code on any Nokia Phone.

8. Service or Warranty Menu: If you want to know how much Warranty of your Phone is left then Dial *#92702689# or *#WAR0ANTY# from your Phone. If your phone is in Warranty period then it will display the Serial number, Month and Year of Manufacture, Date of Purchased and Last Repair (if you get repaid your phone in the warranty period).

If your Phone Warranty period is over then it will only show the Life timer of your phone. Following is the screenshot of Life Timer on Nokia N8:

9. Wi-Fi MAC address: If you want to see the Wi-Fi MAC address of your Phone then Dial *#62209526# Activate Silent Mode from your Phone. It displays the MAC address of WLAN adapter of your phone.

     @Cint, Yes your N8 do have test mode. It appears when you are updating or flashing your phone.
