Nokia Lumia 525 comes with a 1 Ghz dual core processor. The processor is a S4 Plus Snapdragon processor which is quite identical to Lumia 520. One good thing which we loved about the Lumia 525 is the 1 GB RAM which comes with the device. This means that you will get double the amount of RAM as compared to the Lumia 520 smartphone. The chipset is coupled with Adreno 305 GPU which delivers good gaming experience. The overall performance on the Lumia 525 is good and is quite better as compared to the Lumia 520 smartphone thanks to the 1 GB RAM.

You get a 5 Mega pixel rear shooter in the device which is capable of recording videos in 720p HD but there is no flash which won’t allow you to click good pictures in low-light conditions. If you were planning to take selfies with the front camera of the Lumia 525 then you won’t like this part as there is no secondary camera present in the device. You get 8 GB internal storage in the device which is good enough to install many applications. If you like listening to songs on your smartphone then you can add an external micro SD card with storage space up to 64 GB in the device. The 1430 mAh battery is quite less as when we tested the device the hardware ate a lot of juice.

Lumia 525 comes with a 4-inch display. The display is bit small as compared to what other budget smartphones are offering these days. You will get resolution of 480 X 800 pixels with the 4-inch display of the Lumia 525. The screen of the Lumia 525 is just fine as it is not that sharp as it should have been.

Nokia Lumia 525 comes with Lumia black update which brings all the latest customizations and updates. There were many tweaks of the Lumia black update which were seen in Lumia 1520 and 1320 but were missing in the Lumia 525 as there was no shortcut available to activate the tap to wake feature. You will get Nokia Drive app instead of Drive+ but it is fine for people who don’t use cloud storage frequently.
